Real Money Craps

Craps is a casino table game using a pair of dice. It offers players to make wagers on the outcome of dice roll or several rolls. While Craps used to be more popular in their street version, where players wagered money against each other, nowadays Casino Craps or Table Craps are way more popular. These are played against the bank or house, which is the casino, of course.

Rules&Gameplay

The game of Craps can be played by betting for the shooter to win or versus the shooter. When playing in a land-based casino, shooters are changed after each round. However, Online Craps are different in their gameplay as you will be the only player at the table, thus will roll the dice by yourself.

Each round of craps start with the so called ”Come-Out Roll.” Before rolling the dice, you must place a wager on either ”Pass Line” or ”Don’t Pass Line” bets.

The Come Out Roll

Once you’ve placed a wager click on the ”Roll” button to make a roll. If you roll either 7 or 11, you win and have to make another ”Come Out Roll”. You loose if the dice lands on 2, 3 or 12. These combinations are also known as the ”Craps”.

The Point Number

In case the dice lands on a point number – 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 the ”Come Out Roll” round will automatically end and the point number is now established. A great tool to determine is the puck on the craps table. It either says ”off” or ”on” if the point number has been established.

Once it’s established 7 is the number that you are looking to avoid. Your goal is to roll the point number again, so if you rolled 8 as your point number, you are looking to do it once more. If you roll a 7 before rolling point number for the second time, you loose. A rolled point number will award you with an even money payout. This is known as the ”Pass Line” bet type.

Craps Bet Types

Don’t Pass Line – The most popular bet type after the ”Pass Line” bet. This predicts the opposite to happen and will win you cash, when it does. Rolling a 2 or 3 in the ”Come Out Roll” will make you a winner, while 7 or 11 will loose the bet. However, once the Point Number is established the 7 is exactly what you are going after. You’ll win even money every time there’s a 7 rolled, before rolling the point number for the second time.

Come Line Bet – A bet predicting whether the Point Number will be spun instantly after the Come Out Roll. This bet will win if 7 or 11 is rolled and loose if either 2 3 or 12 rolls. In case any other number is rolled, bet will be moved to that particular number as it will now be the point number. Roll this specific number before 7 and you’ll win an even money payout. Once 7 has been rolled, you loose your wager.

Don’t Come Line Bet – An opposite bet to the Come Line Bet. It’s placed after the Come Out Roll and will win if either 2 or 3 is rolled. DCLB will loose if 7 or 11 is rolled. Once the Point Number has been established, you’ll win if 7 is rolled before the shooter rolls Point Number for the second time. This bet also pays at even (1:1) odds.
